Hey everybody,
We made it home! The flight wasn't too bad and Hope did great. She slept half the way on one plane and slept part of the time on another. We had fun watching her play with stickers, books, and colors when she wasn't sleeping. When we arrived, West, all of the grandparents, and Uncle Corey and Aunt Stacy were there to meet and greet us. We were so excited to see everyone and introduce Hope Anjali. We had to wake her once we arrived and she wasn't too comfortable once she first saw everyone. ( Of course it was 2:00 in the morning India time.) She quickly though took a liking to West and wanted to be by him the rest of the day and night. They even slept together on a palette in our room.
We can tell she really feels comfortable with West and her personality is coming out with him. She has spoken several words in English with him, but has not yet with us. West has been a great big brother with her and said yesterday that "picking her up is one of the best days of my life; the other was getting my dog, Patches." We are all so thankful to be back together now as a family of four.
Again we thank all of you for your prayers and words of encouragement. God heard and answered everyone of them. We can't wait for Hope to meet all of you.

What a wonderful report and the pictures are just adorable. So glad you are home and I know you are proud of West - I can tell he's a great big brother. It has been a truly amazing journey so far and I know God has great plans for all of you. I am so blessed to know you and to be able to watch as you journey. I thank God for your friendship, your faithfulness and your influence.

I'm glad you are all home safely and finally able to be together as a family. Isn't it amazing and fun to watch how siblings bond in such a beautiful way! Hope is a blessed little girl to become part of such a Godly and loving family.
ReplyDeleteWelcome Home! I screamed when I saw Hope together with West! They look so precious together! The boys absolutely loved looking at the pictures, too. Brooke hasn't seen them yet. They want to know if West was excited that Hope picked out a hot wheels car:) We will pray that you all get caught up on your rest and that Hope continues to adjust. I am soooo thankful we were able to follow your journey! Love to all of you!!

I saw pictures of Hope on Nanny's camera yesterday. She is a living doll. Keep posting on this blog to tell us how Hope is doing. It is great to see Nancy have a granddaughter now. We loved watching her open all those girly gifts at her shower in Bryan.
